Graduate in Teaching at "Escuela Normal" in Lugo.
He joined La Voz de Galicia in 1972. He was an editor for ten years, delegate in Ferrol for 16 years and delegate in Santiago for three years. He is currently the head editor of the weekend newspaper.
He is author of the books about nature "Ancares", "Eume" and "Los ríos de Galicia", co-author of the political analysis "Elecciones municipales 1987: una solución de jeroglífico" and coordinator of the historical analysis of Ferrol "Ferrol, un siglo de historia".
