Graduate in Hispanic Philology at the University of Coruña.
She was professor of Spanish Philology at the University of Santiago until 2001, when she starts working at La Voz de Galicia as an editor.
She participates editing the Stylebook of La Voz de Galicia and it is worth mentioning "Linguas Vivas" among her journalistic publications. Such article is dedicated to the explanation of aspects related to the Galician language.
