Carballo González, Ignacio

Graduate in Media Studies, specialized in Journalism at the Auntonomous University of Barcelona (UAB).
He belongs to the editorial staff of La Voz de Galicia since August 1990 and he develops most of his career at such newspaper.
With an exception in 2005-2006, when he was the coordinator of the Galician section in the editorial department of La Voz, he was always been linked to the delegation in Santiago de Compostela, where he was the head-editor and sub delegate.
He worked in several information areas and he specialized in local journalism. Since November 2006 he is the delegate of the Corporation Voz de Galicia in Santiago.
Prior to his entry in La Voz de Galicia he was an editor of "El Ideal Gallego", where he incorporated in 1983 after a period of internship in the same newspaper. In this newspaper, "El Ideal Gallego", he worked in the local department of La Coruña and coordinated the Galician department.
Subsequently (1988-89) he was part of the group which founded "Diario de Galicia" at such paper headquarter in Vigo, as an editor of the Galician section.
He is professor of journalistic editing for the Master in La Voz de Galicia and the University of La Coruña since the academic year 2006-07.
