Graduate in Journalism (1986) and Publicity (1986) at the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB).
1994-1996 She takes doctoral courses at the University of Santiago de Compostela
1995-1996 Postgraduate course “El Reportaje Televisivo” at the University Pompeu Fabra of Barcelona
1996-1997 Postgraduate course “Especialista en Guión Documental”, at the University of Santiago de Compostela.
Professional Experience:
Nowadays and since November 2, 2005, she is the editor in chief of the Information Service at Galician Television (TVG), where she has been working as a journalist since July, 1989. During those years she hold different positions of responsibility, for instance as an editor of "Telexornal Serán" (1993-95), director and presenter of "Telexornal Noite" (1995), reporter of the weekly news programmes "Reporteiros" and "O Semanal" between 1995 and 2002.
At the same time she has reported for TVG as a special correspondent of different interest affairs:
Among them, the fishing conflict between Spain and Namibia (Namibia, 1991), the Universal Exposition of Seville (1992), the meeting of the Spanish Royals and Felipe González with Gorbachov (Seville, 1992), the Balkan War, the Italian elections (1994), different election campaigns in Spain, the assassination of Miguel Ángel Blanco by ETA (1997), the kidnapping of Aldaya and various attacks of ETA in the Basque Country, the Meeting of the Pope John Paul II with adolescents in Paris (1997), the route of the Diamants (Orangemund, Namibia- Antwerp, Belgium, 1997). Besides, she took on the responsibility for news coverage of various trips carried out by the former president of Galicia, Manuel Fraga, etc.
She edited "Informativos del Fin de Semana" (Weekend Nes Broadcast) for TVG from February 2002 to November 2005.

- She is an associated Professor at the Faculty of Sciences of Communication at the University of Santiago de Compostela since 2004, where she teaches "Audiovisual Communication and Information"
- Since May 2006 she is a Board member at the Audiovisual Communication department and member of the Permanent Commission.
- Since 1999 she is a member of the Galician Association of Researchers in Communication
- She was member of the Press Association of Santiago de Compostela between 1993 and 1997
